Birthday Toy
This is what I got from my boyfriend for my birthday. The Pandora is a box that plugs in between my guitar and amp. Now I can create distortions, reverbs, back beats, etc. I can even record a sound for 30 seconds (train whistle, revving car engine, whatever) and have it loop in the background while I play… The problem is that now that I am old, it is hard to learn new technology. The little box does way too many things. My son is experimenting with it, too, so maybe he can help his old mother.My boyfriend never fails to surprise me. I marvel at what a blessing it has been to have him as my housemate, husband, parenting partner, couch pillow, and work associate for all these years. (We got together on a chilly Valentine’s Day 25 years ago.)
Hey, I would be crazy in love him even if he hadn’t bought me a new toy!

Dig the new toy. I have been looking at something like that for Isaac but I am so out of it I don’t know what is good anymore. I figure the more gadgets I get him the more interested he will be in sticking with it.
Happy B-day/Valentines day, love the new site, toy looks cool. Glad I finally know what you feel about finding that person you know you are so lucky to have. I wish I could play an instrument oh well I suppose i’ve been blessed with other talents, enjoy your new gift!!
sweet box!!! my dad would love that…he has all sorts of pedals for his guitar…he hasnt bought one in a while, of course there arent any guitar centers or anything like that around here that we know of…it would be nice tho…i’d love to get a bass amp…: )

yea my dad plays electric and acoustic…i’ve been playing bass for about 2 years now, on and off, but now i’m playing on my church’s worship team, so i have a reason to play ; ) I didnt take any lessons, but since my dad plays guitar, he’s been able to help me. he also got me a dvd, but i dont like the guy that teaches, so i dont use it much…lol…
so i sound like levi about valentines day?? ehh, yea, its not my fave
