I discovered Narnia online tonight–which was not good because I have papers to critique for WriteatHome.net. I got a little, uh, detained in the witch’s castle… Anyway, you can find virtual Narnia at:
    http://adisney.go.com/disneypictures/narnia/
It has an adventure game, token collections, and cool maps and graphics. You need a high speed internet connection or the game can be slow. It is Myst-esque–on a smaller scale (miniMyst!). Now I really want to see the movie! My daughter is going pre-release. That is so unfair, but it is her birthday soon, and I suppose she deserves a little treat.

I want you to welcome my father-in-law to xanga–Paul E. G. His site is xanga.com/E_muse. You can just click from my site, of course. He likes to write snappy poems, and I think xanga will be a great venue for him. Feel free to visit, comment, and subscribe. You can tell him that Lynard sent you!

Did you know that Phillips screwdriver does not have an apostrophe? It is not a possessive, but just the guy’s name–which had an “s” on the end to begin with. Hmmm-mm. I learn something everyday.

  • Yes, it’s Beth, and yes, it’s a play on my name. I used to hate it when Anne called me that, but now I’ve embraced it :)

Anyway, I’m here now which means I might actually be able to keep up with all you Pittsburghers!

Missed you guys at Thanksgiving but it sounded like you had a good time :)
