Kate with Skip

I found this pic of Kate with her horse camp companion from the summer, and just had to post it. Look how happy Skip is to be with my wonderful girl!Speaking of kids, Taylor made me cut his hair. Yes, really! That mop he displays in my last post is now taking up half a garbage bag in my kitchen. I didn’t want to use the Wahl shaver, but that is what he wanted—close to the scalp on the sides, just an inch or two on top. Oh, sadness. But-of-course (say it with a French accent!), he is still tres beau…just don’t tell him I said so.
OK, I’m sorry, Levi, I didn’t talk about you this time, but that is because you are the middle child–overlooked, taken for granted, underesteemed.
Actually, you are probably gleeful that I didn’t mention you and your poetry crafting, guitar playing, and song writing. You can fly under the radar, play the underdog, and enjoy a justified resentment party. If you had only gotten an A in gym, I would have mentioned your straight-A report card, too, but, alas, no kudos for the one in the middle…

I know how it feels to be Levi, times two. I’m the middle of five children. Middle Childs are the best though!!! We rock!!
Hey, I married a middle child! Apparently they are the least likely to end up seeing a psychiatrist, so there’s that going for him.
He’s Louie all over again! ACK!
Levi…fly under the radar? Is that even possible?
Hey Mrs Gordon! Long time no talk! How are you doin? Aww, Katie looks so cute with the horse. I miss riding! I still can’t believe Taylor cut his hair.. why is everyone cutting their awesome hair?! How was your thanksgiving? You went to NJ right? We had a lot of fun here.. haha getting back with my 2 sisters who go to Geneva was a lot of fun. We’re a bad combination!

Je suis trés trés beau!!! haha, et je le sais!
hello!
Hi Mrs. Gordon! Yes middle children seem to have the neglect and missfortune of the family. We are bossed around by the older siblings and left babsitting the younger ones(although I’m sure Katie doesn’t need a babysitter, so mature that sweet girl) Though I don’t think I would want it any other way. I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving. BTW monday was my mommy’s birthday. Wow 44 years old and no one would believe it.
God bless you
Nina
